Ride for Recovery's mission is to support those in need with the medical care, support and help on their journey to Recovery. Through the funds raised on the bike ride the proceeds go towards the Faces of Recovery and Transitions of Care Funds which directly benefit those in need being discarged from the McKeesport Hospital. Proceeds also go towards the McKeesport Hospital Foundation was founded in 1976, as an incorporated 501c3 nonprofit with the goal of ensuring the continuation of quality healthcare in the Mon Valley Region of Pittsburgh. 

At ACW Canterlilly we recognize the direct relationship between financial coverage of medications upon discharge from hospitalization and decreased in readmittance rates in the 7-28 day period afterwards. The greater medication access these fundraisers provide the larger the overall health benefit affored to this disadvantaged community.
